My year memories 10th Anniversary special #1-2012!

This is going to be a new 10th anniversary stories and adventures series about my memories of each year in CP! I've been playing with this account (I old penguin was hacked and banned) since December 2011 and I'll be writing out my memories of each year. The first one or two posts will have very few pictures and mainly info, but the last few will mostly be pictures and less info. Anyway, let's start with 2012!

This year started with the Underwater Expedition. this party was awesome, and the maze really confused me! I thought it was funny that Rookie ordered too many anvils, and it all in all was an epic party!

I'll always remember the Puffle party. It was then I got my memberhip, and first puffle. He's called Billy, I still have him!

In June, I experienced the first of many takeovers. I was confused of the marvel superheroes but decided to make the most of it with roleplaying and meeting with real life friends.

The Halloween party 2012 was AWESOME. I loved it! Lol, I remember when me and Finlayp198 were trying to get a penguin to wear a cat outfit to complete the trio :')

And then, there was the Operation blackout. I found it kind of, sort of scary at first, but it ended up being one of the best parties I've ever experienced.

That sums up my review on 2012! It was pretty decent. I'll be doing 2013 soon, and, if I have time, I'll  do 2014 and maybe even 2015 too! Do you like this new series?

Checking out the 10th Anniversary party with Pup1one! (And now I'm very tired.)

Last night (At around 9:30 PM in bed) I decided to go on sleet to check out the anniversary party on CP! (It's EPIC by the way) and you'll never guess who I met...

Well, you probably did guess, he title probably told you :P Anyway, I met PUP1ONE! He's a really famous penguin, and a really nice guy. We explored the party together, and when I finally went to sleep at around 10:15 PM, I couldn't sleep I was so excited!

 Thanks so much for meeting me Pup! (What happened in this room?!)

The festival of Snow Party preparations have started!

Preparations of the 2015 festival of snow sculpture preparations have started! Here are pictures of them:

First four PSA Missions are BACK in Club Penguin!

I'm back after a long break, now it's time to catch up! The awesome old PSA missions are BACK and ready to play in the EPF HQ!

Director: Agent. Training missions are back, Report to the HQ and test your skills.

Wow! This is awesome! There's even a catalog! Click on it and...

There are items for members and non-members!

Time to do the missions and waddle down the memory lane!

When you click a mission, it says; Agent: Progress will not save during your mission. Make sure you have about 40 minutes to complete it.

And when you stop in a mission, it says, Are you sure you want to quit this mission? No, I want to keep playing. Yes, I'll start it again some other time.

First four mission objectives: 

Mission 1 - The missing Puffles

Aunt Arctic... Famous reporter for the Club Penguin Times... has lost two of her pet puffles. It is your assignment to find and rescue them.

Mission 2 - G's Secret Mission

Agent G has your mission in the Sport Shop. You will be asked to prove that you are an agent before he assigns you the mission.

Mission 3- Case of the missing coins

The coins have gone missing from the vault in the gift shop. Report to the gift shop to investigate. Another agent will meet you there.

Mission 4 - Avalanche rescue

There has been an avalanche at the mountain, and your help is needed. Report to the HQ and G will give you further details.

These missions are AWESOME and I'm having so much fun playing them!

New Item avaliable at the Fair!

There is a new prize at the prize booth! Unfortunately, I already have this item from a past Fair.

But hey, good news! us old penguins save 75 tickets!

My entry for the snow sculpture contest!

I have spent some time and have made a design for this year's snow sculpture contest! I know it's nothing compared to the world class drawings some of the community can do, but it's worth a shot. Anyway, here it is.

I don't know why I chose bro bump, just for a laugh...BRO BUMP! See? It's fun to say. Anyway, I will send this to see and flippers crossed I win!

How Club Penguin could close down, and what we could do to prevent it

Hi! Now, following the fact that all those employees were laid-down, Club Penguin is in danger of CLOSING DOWN! Now, all things come to an end, but I have some ways we could make Club Penguin last longer! Here are my ways:

Buy a membership.
Now, I'm not saying you have to buy 10 memberships or whatever, just that the laid down workers, they said they got laid-down because ''membership numbers are way down''. So, gettng a membership will help. And not a 7 day one, but a 1 month one, 6 moths and even 12 months! You may be thinking, 'how does 1 membership help?' well, it doesn't help much, but as Tesco say, every little helps!

Stop hacking/cheating-you shouldn't do it anyway!
Hacking/cheating is a BIG DEAL. You shouldn't be doing it anyhow, but that is one of the major reasons Club Penguin is falling down! They can't deal with it-there are too many hacking programs for them to deal with-Spike Hike once described it as 'a game of wack-a-mole. You shouldn't be doing it anyway, but if you are, you should really stop!

 Spread the word!
Tell your friends and family about Club Penguin! My brothers, Finlayp198 and Fredsta909  are telling their friends at school and so am I! The more players, the longer CP will last!

Those are my ideas. Please follow them so Club Penguin can last much longer!

That's fin-tastic feedback!!

Over the year's igloo item size has increased, mainly because we included the option the remove the igloo completely so players can build straight on the big open space. 

I do think we need to have more balance between large and small items though, so we'll definitely keep that in mind when building new content. As well as your other igloo feedback. 

Also, we completely agree in regards to the chat filter. We are constantly working to improve what is and isn't allowed. Since safety of our players is our number 1 priority we do have to be careful. 

Some of the words you mentioned on your blog, like 'god' and 'blood', can be used in really negative ways online to the point where it could really hurt someone. We would rather air on the side of caution in those cases. 

However, we realize that it is too strict in other areas, so we are working to improve what can be seen. 

As for your party concerns, we've had to simplify some of the recent parties in order to be able to have them both online and on mobile. Our tech writers pretty much have to write two sets of code for the parties and having complicated parties where everything is decorated can be time consuming. 

That is a process we are trying to simplify, so we can have the best possible experience for parties on both platforms.  We would love to see more decorations and activities moving forward. 

Lol, I love the pics of the giant pins by the way. It would be cool to see them smaller and more of a challenge to find.

Club Penguin discussion: How can Club Penguin improve?

Hey guys! Now today, I've been thinking: Would it be good if I decided to do Club Penguin discussions on my blog? I then thought that I'd do one and see how it went. After you've read this, please comment saying if you want more! Anyway, let's get this started! Today's topic is...how Club Penguin can improve.
Topic 1: Igoos
Yep. I think you'll agree that one, Igloo items aren't as good as they used to. I found an old photo of an igloo i made back in 2011. I challenged myself only to use the items of one catalog. Here it is.

Now, I made the same type of igloo with fairly newer items.

Personally, I think the new items are less imaginative. But, I have another point in this. SIZE. Here is an igloo I made of older items. There is 18 items in this igloo.

Now, this is an igloo made of newer items. This has 7 items in. Look how cramped it is! CP, please make your items smaller.

That is my first point.
Topic 2: Laziness in items!
Yep. Back in October, I made a proper discussion about this. To read it, click here. But it was worth bringing it up. I won't say too much, but just look at the photo.

Topic 3: THE CHAT FILTER!
This is one everyone finds annoying. Back in 2011, Club Penguin changed their chat filter. Before then, penguins could have a proper conversation. But now, it's just too strict. It's getting stupid. Yeah, I get that you can't swear, but chat filters should end there. Here are some examples of words and sentances you can't say.

The naming filter for the Soundstudio game is STUPID. It allows many swear words, but look at this!

Topic 4: Parties
Now, this is an important one. Parties are the highlight of every month, what makes Club Penguin unique from all the other online games. They are important! So, why was, for example only FOUR major rooms decorated at the Soundstudio Party?! Just look at the map from it! And one of those rooms, the plaza, was reused from the Hollywood party of 2013! Okay, the activity was good but decoration? Pfft.

I know I'm sounding rude, but I seriously think you should just put a bit more effort into them, Y'know? BUT the current Puffle Party is fun. So far, 1/3 Parties have been great but 3/3 Parties have had amazing quests.
Topic 5: Pins
Pins are too big. Look at these comparisons. If you've seen my Pin cheats, you'll know how big they are nowadays.

How Club Penguin can improve

• Make more imaginative items. We don't want everyday clothing, we want funny, odd clothing that can make combanations that are different to everybody else! And also, please change the t-shirts back. Everyone wants them, but they don't want them making them fat!
• Size down the igloo items a bit, and stop copying old ones! Everyone knows what you guys are capable of.
• Relax on the chat and be more ready with the Soundstudio and Puffle naming filters. 'friendship' is nice word. Better than some of the words that are allowed...
• Shrink the Pins down and get rid of that white outline! They stand out from the room too easily. Maybe make two pins every two weeks; an easy one for new players and an older one for penguins who have been playing for a while, like me.

That is all. I rest my point.

New Puffle Lodge!

As part of Club Penguin's updates, the new Puffle Lodge has arrived!
PH: G'day! PH here. The Puffle Lodge is now open in the ski village. Come by and join the Puffle guides! We'll celbrate next week with fish cake. Click ok...

Here is what the Lodge looks like! I really like it, and THEY EVEN KEPT FRED THE CUCKOO CLOCK! Thank CP! I just have one pretty annoying issue to point out...They haven't animated the fire! Why?? Even the music has a fire crackling away! I think the animated fire would make a great feel to the room, what do you think?

And here is the Attic...There are lots of mysteries here BUT I will do a post about that later,..

I like the new Lodge more than I thought I would!

New Ski Lodge Sneak Peak!

At this months' Puffle party, the ski lodge is being rebuilt! A few days ago, Megg posted this Sneak Peak of the new lodge...

I must say that I wish Club Penguin wouldn't renovate it! The Lodge is one of the last old rooms! #savethelodge

AND what will happen to Fred the Cuckoo clock? I can't see him in the picture!

Club Penguin-A race against time!

I was waddling around in Club Penguin when I found Gary's Time trekker!

I stepped inside and went through time...I was at my First ever post!

I jumped as fast as possible into the Time Trekker and I ended up...at my blog central?!?!

 

I tripped over the Club Penguin banner and fell on top of the picture of me...LOL :)

Then I remembered not to mess with time... so I hopped in the time trekker, of which began to move AGAIN...I was at a PENGUIN CHAT! Now this couldn't be right...I hadn't even heard of CP then...

Then I noticed a penguin staring at the Time Trekker...Um gotta go! I shouted.
I was on the move again, and when I waddled out, I was home :)

But then I heard talking...It was the penguins from Penguin chat! Oops...I hope they enjoy this new, modern lifestyle :)
